Children's Ministry
We welcome children and want them to be able to encounter God and learn more about how they can be followers of Jesus. We have di fferent groups for children aged 0-15 every week at our 10.30am celebration where they can have fun learning more about God, worshipping and praying in a way that is relevant to them. During the week we run toddler groups and a playgroup for our community. In the summer we support Lighthouse, a children’s holiday club.
We hold family events through the year including The Noise, which is a day for our community when we have a family fun day at the church at the same time as other church members are doing projects in the community to show God’s love to everyone.
We have a lots of activities for children aged from 0-13 every week at the main Sunday celebration at 10.30am as well as other groups throughout the week such as toddlers and playgroup. Normally the children join the main service for the first 20 minutes before going to their groups.
Crèche (0-3’s)
The crèche provides a safe environment for children to play, and may include stories and games appropriate for them. Do feel free to bring your child into the crèche at any time during the celebration. Toys may be borrowed to entertain a baby or toddler sitting in the celebration or the lounge.
Mini-Kosmic (3-5’s)
Mini kosmic is for 3–5 year olds who meet in St Andrew’s house. We sing, do craft, eat munchies and explore the bible together. It’s great fun!
Kosmic (5-11’s)
A fun and fast moving blend of craft, music, games, and Christian teaching for kids! Interactive teaching, craft, songs and games.
Gideons (11 -13’s)
Gideons is a chance to get together on a Sunday morning to chat and get to know each other and to do some interesting stuff about the Christian faith and investigate some of the big issues we face in our everyday life. We have visiting speakers and games -oh and we have plenty of nice biscuits! We also have exciting social activities planned at other times.
20:20 (14-15’s)
Meeting during the 10:30 celebration on the 3rd Sunday of each month, 20:20 is a self-led youth discussion group which aims to uncover a clearer vision of what God is saying to young people today through his living Word.
