"Love your neighbour as yourself" Matt 28 v 9

Our vision is to be a transforming presence at the heart of our community. We seek therefore to be active in our community.

  • Over 750 new homes are being built in our area and we visit these homes shortly after the people have moved in to give them a welcome leaflet, and we hope a warm welcome.
  • We provide activities for the young people of the area through a Friday evening Youth Club.
  • There is a lunch club for the older people every Wednesday.
  • For the last 20 years we have put a Christmas Day Lunch for sometimes as many as 120 people in our area.
  • We lead a service once a month at four of the residential accommodations for older people.
  • Every month a team visits all the houses in a street in the area asking for the prayer need so the people who live in that street.
  • Through our links with Home Start and others, we seek to help those individuals and families in real need in our community, through gifts of food at Harvest time and toys at Christmas.
