Disciple Groups

Disciple groups are central to the life of our church, and we encourage all our congregation to consider belonging to a group. Currently there are groups meeting on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as well as three daytime groups. There are three womens groups, and a group for those over retirement age.
Disciple groups are the place where people can receive care and support from one another, in prayer and in practical help. All groups are encouraged to worship together, study the bible and discuss it practical application in their lives, pray together, and be outward focussed in line with the vision of the church to be a transforming presence at the heart of our community.
Each group has its own flavour, and different groups have been involved in various projects reflecting these interests, for example organising churchwide socials, carrying out diy projects among those in need in the local community, holding prayer and praise evenings, and supporting missionaries working abroad.
If you would like to join a group or to learn more about them please contact Heather Graham or Gordon and Rosemary Jones who oversee these groups or ring the church office on 01494 529668.
