Global Mission
We support a number of people around the world who have been sent out and continue to be supported by the church.
Jenny Green is working with CMS in Uganda and has set up a wonderful Crisis Centre called The Potters Village. The centre is for young children who would otherwise have no hope for survival.
We are also developing a partnership with the local church in Kisoro, Uganda and the diocese there. Teams from St Andrew’s have been providing practical support.
A team are planning to go out in January 2012 to run a holiday club, help out at Potters Village and to provide training for Church leaders. If you would like to join us for this visit, please email David Tester to find out more in formation.
Bishop Cranmer also from Uganda visited St Andrew’s in November 2010. Simon went back out in May 2011 and trained some church leaders.
Marc and Hannele Secchia are working in Ethiopia.
