Debbie has been in charge of home schooling first Abigail and then Lydia
since 1999. Since 2003 she has set up a Christian preschool based in our
home this is for children of church members and as an outreach to
non-Christian families around us. She is also involved in youth ministry
with reading classes for school age children and training of teachers
for the preschool and Sunday-school.
She also coordinates sponsorship for an assortment of older children and
young adults on behalf of donors in UK and elsewhere.
Our main goal is to strengthen the local church, to enable new workers
in the key ministry of church planting in The Gambia and to provide
Christian grounding for local children.
We anticipate continuing in similar ministry until summer 2011 and then
returning to UK. Plans after that are not fixed.
