Pastoral Care & Counselling

Pastoral Care

Being a committed community is one of our core values. Caring for one another is vital to our sense of community. We aim to offer pastoral care in a number of different ways:

Disciple groups are where people meet in small groups and care for one another.

The Pastoral Care Team aim to give additional support to those in times of need, through visiting, prayer, home communion and practical help in the form of meals, lifts etc

We support those who have been bereaved for as long as is helpful to them, in whatever way is right for them.

We have an active Prayernet, where we respond to prayer requests for urgent needs in the church and community.

Counselling

We appreciate that some people will need help over a longer period and we encourage them to go for counselling where appropriate. There are trained counsellors within the congregation, and a christian counsellor who works from the church. For more information email Heather Graham
