Simon Dust – Vicar
Simon has been the vicar of St Andrew’s Church since July 2008. Simon is married to Debbie. They have three children and met each other at St Andrew’s church at the age of 10! Simon is a keen football supporter including both Liverpool and Wycombe Wanderers and likes to play golf. Email simon@sac-hw.org.uk
James Kennedy – Curate
James was ordained in July 2010 and is working as a curate. He is married to Emma and they have four children and a puppy. James used to work as a urological surgeon. He loves being outdoors – walking in the Lake District or playing golf, and also enjoys rugby (but only watching now!) Email james.kennedy@sac-hw.org.uk
Debbie Dust – Community Outreach Support
Debbie is married to Simon and her role on the team is to oversee the Community Outreach. Debbie enjoys watching films, reading a good book, spending time with friends, and enjoying a good latte. Email debbie.dust@sac-hw.org.uk
Heather Graham – Pastoral Worker
Heather is married to Phil and they have four children. Heather has the role of pastoral oversight in the church. She is a trained counsellor and works with a great team covering all ages in the church. She enjoys running and makes fantastic flapjack! Email heather.graham@sac-hw.org.uk
Jonny Hedges – Youth Pastor
Jonny joined the St Andrew’s team as in September 2011. He is from the North East of England and proud to be a Middlesbrough FC supporter. From a family of 5, Jonny enjoys spending lots of time with friends, on the football pitch and in Costa Coffee minus the coffee! . Email Jonny.hedges@sac-hw.org.uk
Penny Pears – Officer Manager
Penny looks after the administration in the church office and works to enable the smooth running of the church life. Penny is married to Tony. Email penny.pears@sac-hw.org.uk
Angela McInerney – Finance AdministratorAngela is responsible for the smooth running of the day to day finances of the church. She is married to James and has two teenage children. Email angela.mcinerney@sac-hw.org.uk
Kate Caröe – volunteer Leadership team member looking at Ministry development within the church family
Kate’s role involves matching up those willing to help out with church life or wanting to develop their own ministry skills. She spent 11 years in engineering and factory management before studying at Northumbria Bible college for 2 years with husband Patrick. They then moved to Wycliffe Bible Translators UK headquarters where Kate served for 10 years as Estate manager and then Company Secretary. They have three children. Kate loves a good book, being teased by the family and (gentle) roller coasters.
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has many roles and is made up of elected members of the church. It is responsible for the financial affairs of the church and the care and maintenance of the church fabric and its contents as well as working to promote the mission of the church.
