Jonny is our Youth Pastor – or as the youth like to call him: “Jedges”! He likes to think he is cool, but he isn’t. However, he does know what is going on for Youth at St A’s so please feel free to come and chat to him, whether you are youth, or a parent, or just want to get involved!

There have been some changes with the new school year. Keep your eye on these pages, or on leaflets at church to know what is going on now, and what we’re planning for the future.

What’s New?

We’ve had a rebrand of everying! Below is a list of everything – let Jonny know what you think!

SAYGO stands for St Andrew’s Youth-Go! As a youth group we need to be looking at our life at St A’s but also GOING out from church to our friends and family who don’t yet know Jesus.

SNL – Sunday Night Live Sunday evening events which will become a big part of our young people’s community. These events include youth services, socials and trips to Soul Survivor to worship together in a different setting.

7:37 – Disciple groups In John 7:37 Jesus tells of how when we are thirsy we need to come and drink, going deeper in our relatoinship with God, we need to spend more time looking into the Bible and learning with each other. That is what 7:37 groups are all about:

Yr9-10 The Heap Mondays 7.15-8.45 with Kate Caroe, Jordan Anderson and James Newbold in Allyn Close
Yr10-11 Thursdays 7.30-9.00 with Zac and Nelia Roberts & Cassie Mill in Windrush Drive
Yr12-13 Mondays 7.30-9.00 with Jonny Hedges & Chloe & Steve Smith in Bassetsbury Lane

Youth Jam is every other thursday and is led by Luke Hodgin. Whether you can play an instrument, sing or enjoy the techie side, some along. We’ll be playing together but adding some practical thinking about what it is to be part of a worship team. Youth Jam is for everyone and anyone – come along and be released into what god has planned for you in worship through music.

J.@.C. is our weekly drop in session with Jonny @ Costa Coffee in Wycombe Town centre between 4-6pm. Drop in for chats, coffee and cake.

ACTS29 doesn’t exist in the Bible – but we believe our Youth are the next chapter of the Church, so our 11-14s group who meet on a Sunday are called ACTS29.

Gideons (Yrs 7-9) Meet in the chapel every Sunday morning for chilling, chatting about the bible and cake!

20:20 Meet during the morning celebration on the 3rd Sunday of each month and is a discussion group for youth, by youth, which aims to uncover a clearer vision of what God is saying to young people today through his living Word. They’ll be meeting on January 15th, February 5th & 19th, March 11th & 18th.

We also get the chance to go away for activity weekends and to national events like Soul Survivor and Momentum.

Community Youth Group

Friday Youth Club weekly at 7pm
The is a community focused youth club providing a safe environment for young people with loads of activities, sports and games as well as a chance to chat, relax and meet new friends.
